October 7, 2025
Table of Contents
It’s almost time for all-out warfare.
Battlefield 6 launches around the world on October 10, 2025 at 8 a.m. PT (5 p.m. CET). All regions will be able to access the game at the same time worldwide:
Prior to Battlefield 6’s worldwide launch, Battlefield Studios will deploy a patch update that is required to play the game. Unless you have auto-updates enabled on your platform (by default), make sure you download that patch manually for a smooth launch day experience.
PC Intel - Secure Boot Instructions
In order to play Battlefield 6 on PC, you must enable Secure Boot. This necessary security feature allows EA’s Javelin Anticheat to detect, remove and deter cheaters. You can check whether or not Secure Boot is enabled on your computer by checking its System Information menu; simply perform a general search or enter “msinfo32” in your run command window to see this menu.
Specific information, including links out to your computer or motherboard manufacturer’s website for exact secure boot instructions, can be found on this EA Help article here.
A Reminder on PC Specifications
Our PC Specifications list is in no way comprehensive; we know there are hundreds of graphical cards and thousands of combinations they have with various processors. With that in mind, these specifications are designed to showcase the minimal viable build for seven in-game graphic pre-sets.
We highly recommend using your GPU manufacturer’s optimization software to fit your specific PC build, or venturing into the in-game Settings to fine tune everything to your personal best experience. Unless otherwise specified on official Battlefield communication channels, such as our verified social media accounts or EA.com, we also advise you to have the latest drivers installed before launching the game.
The Minimum Required Specifications is the absolute recommendation for the most basic optimized experience of Battlefield 6. Any hardware upgrades made from this base configuration can result in better graphics or framerate.
Across all specifications to run Battlefield 6, the following security features are required:
- TPM 2.0 Enabled
- User Secured Boot Enabled
