College Football 26 Season 5

The postseason has arrived in College Football 26, which means fresh events, player items, and more ways to build a team ready to go all the way to the top. Conquer Challenges and more during events like College Football Playoff, Bowl Blitz, and the coldest event of the year – Polar Vortex. 

NEW EVENTS

BOWL BLITZ

It’s bowl season! One of the most unique and important parts of college football is coming to Ultimate Team, with new sets of bowl game content every week starting on December 10. From underdogs to powerhouse clashes, Bowl Blitz tells new stories with every fresh matchup. Look for new player items, then complete Challenges and earn Bowl Trophy Tokens that can be collected and traded in for a special upgraded player item. 

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

The hype is real. And it’s in Ultimate Team with the College Football Playoff event, starting on December 12. Follow along with every single matchup by completing Challenges and more celebrating every big moment as all 12 teams vie for a spot in the biggest game of all. Get your choice from 1 of 3 player items after the first time you log in during the Playoff event, score fresh Locker drops throughout, and look for even more new player items from all 12 Playoff teams.

Coinciding with the Heisman Trophy Award announcement, all players who earned the Heisman Token during Season 4 will be able to exchange it for a 94 OVR Heisman Winner player item on 12/18.  

POLAR VORTEX

As winter takes hold around the country, it’s time for an all-new, ice-cold Ultimate Team event: Polar Vortex. Enter a dark, mysterious blizzard filled with supernatural chaos as you take on wave after wave of Challenges to earn your coldest rewards yet! Starting on December 16, each week introduces a new wave of calamity where players must survive and complete Ultimate Team tasks and face giant bosses with crazy stats. Defeating each boss unlocks the next stage of the storyline, driving you deeper into the storm. Plus, check out all-new player items and exclusive crossover content with Madden NFL 26 Ultimate Team Zero Chill. 

SEASON 5 PLAYER ITEMS

Ultimate Team Season 5 will feature new player items added to the Ultimate Team pool of items and can also be acquired through the Field Pass, Challenges, and more. Follow the CFB Ultimate Team channel on X to be the first to see when new players are released.

Don’t miss the Heisman Captains–upgradeable new player items representing two legendary 88 OVR Heisman Trophy winners: Tim Tebow and Charles Woodson. Earn them on Level 2 of the Field Pass, then complete a series of Objectives to get upgrade tokens that can elevate each player item to a 95 OVR.
