Deep Dive - FC Pro World Rankings

We are excited to announce the debut of the FC Pro World Rankings, a new way to measure the quality and consistency of our elite players across consecutive game titles.

The FC Pro World Rankings will see all FC Pro players earn Ranking Points as they progress and compete in eligible FC Pro competitions and select third-party competitions outside the FC Pro ecosystem.

Tier System

Each FC Pro eligible competition will be allocated a tier, from AAA to B, with the FC Pro Open and FC Pro World Championship having their own unique point distributions as our pinnacle events throughout the season.

*FC Pro Leagues will be updated once they are announced throughout the season.

**The top 16 players will not earn any FC Pro World Ranking points from this competition, as they will be eligible for a boosted pool of points during FC Pro Open.

Longevity and Update Frequency

The FC Pro World Rankings will run over a continuous three-year cycle. Upon launch, results collected during EA SPORTS FC 24TM will be available. As we accumulate more data, each year’s points will be worth less and less until they expire.

An example of this is below:

EA SPORTS FC 26™ data during the FC Pro 26 season is worth 100% of the points
EA SPORTS FC 25™ data during the FC Pro 26 season is worth 50% of the points
EA SPORTS FC 24™ data during the FC Pro 26 season is worth 30% of the points

The FC Pro World Rankings will be updated on a regular monthly cadence throughout the year. Where necessary, additional updates may be made after significant competitions take place.

The one exception to this rule is that points earned from the FC Pro World Championship will retain their full value until the end of the next FC Pro World Championship.

Points Distribution

FC Pro World Rankings points are earned per finishing position within each competition that a player competes in within the given threshold as indicated in the distribution table below.

Should players be tied on finishing placement, i.e. 3rd - 4th, 5th - 8th, 9th - 12th, etc. then all players within this range will receive the average points of those placements.

For example: players finishing 5th - 8th at the FC Pro World Championship would all receive 398.250 points.

Players who are tied on placements that extend beyond the allocations noted below will not be awarded any points.

If a competition, or part of a competition is played online, points that are attributed to that part of the competition will only receive 50% of the total points allocated.

If a competition, or portion of a competition, is not played in the FC Pro standard 1v1 game mode, points will still be awarded to both players for the full allocation based on their placements.

If a player finished first in an A-Tier competition, which was online only, they would receive 312.5 points.

The FC Pro Open Regional Cups are tiered individually based on regions as below:
