The fourth season of the eSerie A TIM has got underway following last year’s online qualifiers. This year, it includes some exciting new additions to the official football esports championship of the Serie A - played exclusively on EA SPORTS FC™ 24.
In addition to being crowned the Italian National Champion, the winner - along with the second-placed player from eSerie A TIM - will qualify directly to the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship. Four eChampions League spots will also be awarded to the top finishers.
The two qualifiers will be joined by the four semi-finalists from the FC Pro Open Finals.
Last season saw Juventus Dsyre triumph with Danipitbull (his second win in the past three seasons, after his first victory representing Benevento in 2021). Juventus Dsyre has already built on that success this season, winning the EA SPORTS FC eSupercup in December.
Danipitbull is set to return to eSerie A TIM this month, alongside 2024 FC Pro Open Finalist Obrun2002 of Verona | Exeed, Udinese eSports D-Link’s rising star AntoniniGabriel and many more who will try to get the top spot.
The eSerie A TIM 2024 season was officially announced in October last year, in a special event hosted by the Bianconeri from the prestigious Allianz Stadium.
Also announced was the launch of the eSerie A TIM | Road Show, a series of live events developed in collaboration with the Clubs that offered fans the exclusive opportunity to challenge the pro players, meet Clubs’ football players and get ‘hands on’ with the game.
Format
With the 2023 EA SPORTS FC eSupercup having kicked off the domestic season in style last December, attention now turns to the eSerie A TIM Regular Season.
The formula of the eSerie A TIM tournament, as ever, consists of the Regular Season, followed by the Playoffs, culminating with the season Final Eight.
For the first time in the competition, pro players will use the new FC Pro Draft system to pick their respective squads, with specific squad restrictions to the Serie A.

Schedule
Online Qualifiers - November/December
Prior to the start of the main eSerie A TIM tournament program, all fans had the opportunity to compete in Online Qualifiers throughout December and January, to try to win the possibility of being drafted by a participating team.
eSerie A TIM Regular Season - February 6th-March 20th
The Regular Season will see 14 clubs compete in a Group Stage format. They will be divided into Groups A and B. The first-ranked team of each group will go directly to the Final Eight, and they will play an initial match to determine which side of the elimination bracket they’ll join. Clubs ranked from 2nd to 7th will play in the Playoffs to get access to the Final Eight.
eSerie A TIM Playoff & Final Eight - April 18th-19th
The Playoffs and Final Eight are knockout competitions where sides will be eliminated with each passing round. After several rounds, two teams will eventually make it to the Grand Final.
The finalists will have also earned themselves a place at the 2024 EA FC Pro World Championship later this year, with the four semi-finalists automatically qualifying for this season’s eChampions League.
Broadcast details
The Serie A Twitch channel will broadcast all the phases of the tournament, in a schedule that will include new exclusive content and a new broadcast team.
