All 64 players have been confirmed for the #FCPRO Open Global Qualifier set to begin on November 10.
The event will take place in London across three days and will see competitors from all over the world take part, with 52 players securing their place through the regional qualifiers to join the 12 invited to the English capital.
A five-round Swiss format stage will begin the event on day one before the knockout rounds take place, with players competing to earn qualification to the FC Pro Open.
All 64 participants have earned a prize of $2,500 for making it this far, though only half will make it through to day two. Competitors will be required to navigate two rounds in the knockout stages in a bid to make the last 16, but two defeats will see them eliminated from the competition.
RB Leipzig’s Anders Vejrgang is among the 12 invited stars at the event in the challenge for qualification to the FC Pro Open, and he is also one of two quarter-finalists from the 2023 FIFA eWorld Cup, with Montaxer also securing his place in the Europe East region after a 9-8 aggregate win over Fokus Musti.
Tekkz, who joined Premier League side Manchester City last month, will also be one to watch as he looks to continue his momentum after an impressive 2023 campaign. He has been a regular on the pro circuit since 2018, and enjoyed one of his best performances at the EA Sports Cup in January, securing second place to earn a prize of $35,000.
Experienced pros Joksan and Didychrislito make up half of the four qualifiers from North America, while competitors from Asia, Oceania, Africa, and Latin America are all set to take part.
