On Sunday, It was a wild one in Portland, Oregon as the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps defeated their rivals Portland Timbers 3:4. The Chilean Pedro Morales scored twice from the penalty spot to increase his goal tally to five.

Coritiba earned their first win of the season, as they defeated Goias 3:0 on Saturday. The midfielder Alex opened the scoring in the fifth minute with teammate Keirrison doubling their lead 10 minutes later.
