The New York Red Bulls ended their three match winless streak with a comfortable 2:0 victory over the Houston Dynamos on Sunday. Fabian Espindola opened the scoring in the 60^th minute withhis fourth goal of the season to help the Red Bulls keep pace with their Eastern Conference rivals, Montreal Impact.

Staying in the United States, Sporting KC’s Kei Kamara scored twice, including the game-winning goal as they defeated the Columbus Crew 3:2 in Kansas City. The win keeps the club in the top half of tightly contested Eastern Conference standings, three points out of first place.

Over in Korea, Lee Dong-Gook scored twice for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in their 4:0 win over Gyeongnam FC. He would also get on the scoresheet on Wednesday, scoring in a losing effort, as they fell to Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma 2:3.
