Each week, FIFAUltimate Team assembles the best players from international and club competition around the world. This collection of players is available to challenge in FIFA Ultimate Team.
Italian Captain and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon helped his country reach their fourteenth consecutive FIFA World Cup thanks to two fine performances over the last week. On Friday, he kept a clean sheet as The Azurri took care of Bulgaria 1:0 in Palermo. On Tuesday evening in Turin, they secured the top spot of Group B andheld off the Czech Republic 2:1.
Portugal sit tied with Russia at the top of their group. On Friday, they left Belfast with a convincing 2:4 win against Northern Ireland with Cristiano Rolando doing most of the damage. He scored a hat-trick in less than twenty minutes, and with important matches against Israel and Luxembourg coming next month, Portuguese fans will be hoping his goal scoring continues.
Even without a loss on their record, the German National Team has yet to qualify for next summer’s FIFA World Cup. Thankfully, with excellent performances from a number of players, including Toni Kroos, there is little doubt that they will secure their qualification next month. Kroos got on the scoresheet during Germany’s 3:0 win against Austia, and he was in form a few days later as they visited the Faroe Islands and defeated their hosts 0:3.
