The Texans defense delivers near constant pressure, while the offense sports a new dynamic with a mobile QB at the helm and one of the game's best receivers.
There are a few WRs in Madden that are basically an instant catch. DeAndre Hopkins is one of them. With elite-level Catching numbers, Hopkins is as sure-handed as you can get. He’s effective with any route tree, so he should be a priority every snap.
Deshaun Watson has all the makings of a future star. He's not the fastest QB, but Watson has good Throw Power and mobility, can break sacks, and has good accuracy. Top priority should be to buy time with Watson’s legs for Hopkins to create separation. And call on Watson for easy first downs when everyone is covered.
Will Fuller V is the fastest player on this roster and your best vertical threat. The deeper the route, the better he is. But be prepared to see the occasional draft.
Strength, Speed, Power Moves, J.J. Watt has everything you could want from a defensive end. He even has decent Catch ratings. Watt can overwhelm most O-lines even when double-teamed, let alone 1v1. Watch the man work.
Adding to the pressure is Jadeveon Clowney. He’s right at home blitzing on most downs. Feel free to experiment and have him and Watt attack from the same side. Chaos ensues.
One of the best safeties for INTs, Tyrann Mathieu is the newest face on the Houston defense. A big-time hitter, Mathieu also sports excellent ball carrier moves when he does come down with it. He is the perfect player to back up the pressure the front seven delivers.
