With the release of The Sims 4™ Romantic Garden Stuff*on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Sims have access to the Whispering Wishing Well, which alters the fate of your Sims’ lives forever! Sims can choose from nine different wishes, including happiness, romance, youth, and Simoleons. But depending on the well’s mood, a wish can lead to everlasting delight, or something much less desirable.
Whether romantic, profitable, or creepy, each outcome is totally unpredictable! To give you a taste of what wishes your Sims could be granted, here are some of our most interesting possibilities.
Unlucky in Love
A Sim’s wish for love can be granted with the perfect partner and a loving relationship. But what happens when the Whispering Wishing Well is in a foul mood? Well, your Sim may end up with a new enemy . . . with benefits. Your Sim will find this detestable dunderhead completely contemptible but, in fact, inexplicably attractive. Sparks will fly in this torrid love affair that offers one of the rarest relationships in the game. It may be that your true love is just a wish away – but maybe not the true love you expected!
A Sticky Simolean Situation
If your Sim’s wildest dream is to become rich, they may just win the lottery and be showered with Simoleons galore. However, the Whispering Wishing Well has a dark sense of humor, and may twist Sims’ words against them. What would your Sim do with a juicy morsel of gossip? Not just any morsel, but a rumor so vile that if you threatened another Sim with exposing this secret they’d surely pay to ensure your silence? Instead of simply granting the wish for wealth, the well may present your Sim with this interesting moral dilemma, leaving him or her to decide if blackmail is worth the money.
Come On, Get Happy
Happiness makes all of our problems disappear, right? Well, in some cases, your Sim can end up walking on sunshine with a very happy moodlet, persisting even longer than the daily norm! But one potential outcome from a wish for happiness isn’t that simple. A curse can be put upon a Sim, where happiness seeps out of them and spreads to other Sims. The happier those Sims get, the further your Sim sinks into deep sadness. What a tearjerker! Of course, this is only one potential (and drastic) outcome.
Everyone Loves a Comeback
In other news, ghosts can wish for life, and may be granted the ultimate reward – a return to the living! Not only will this miraculous revival give the Sim a second chance, but a pact will be formed with the Grim Reaper, allowing them to escape death in the future. Immortality, anyone? Muahahaha.
