ランパートは個人事業を営むブルーワーカー。アウトランズの西、危険で荒んだエリアを巨大な銃、そして金属スクラップ満載のバックパックでだけで生き抜いている。ガイアで人気の改造ショップを開く以前、ラムヤ・パリーク（通称ランパート）は アンダーグラウンドのガントレット界で評判を高めていた。パリークは自身が改造したアイテム、そして圧倒的なスキルを武器にして頂点に上り詰めた。以後、彼女は密輸業者やシンジケート組織、そういった連中からの依頼を受けるようになる。「ランパート」の刻印がなければ、最高の代物とはいえない。巷ではそんな話も聞かれるほどだ。

パリークはその圧倒的な腕前をこれ見よがしに披露していた。いや、彼女流に言うなら、愚か者の無様な姿を露見させていたのだった。そんな彼女の振る舞いが事件を誘引した。あの日の夜、暗殺者集団が店を襲撃した。店は全焼し、彼女はすべてを失った。Apexカードを除いて。このカードはパリークにとって、単なる招待状以上の意味を持つ。店を失いはしたが、これまで築き上げてきたものは認められた。その証となるものだ。彼女のモットーが、自身を端的に表している。「スクラップすら金に変えてみせる」。それが彼女の生き様だ。
