大胆かつ果敢に、激烈かつ獰猛に。今原カイリは汚れた金も使えば、法を破ることも厭わない。彼女は幼いころ、タイタンを盗み出した。それは父が所有していたもの。彼は「バイパー」というコールサインで呼ばれ、憧れの存在だった。だがこの翌日、彼は任務に赴き、二度と帰ってくることはなかった。その後、彼女はある意味では父の足跡をたどることになった。暮らしを豊かにしたのはタイタンではなく、船だった。だが、人生が満たされることはなかった。昼は金目のカーゴを密輸し、夜はバーでチンピラや傭兵相手に酒の飲み比べをする生活。富を築き、美酒にも酔った。空への愛も変わらない。それでも満たされることはなかった。あの男の行方を追うことに取り憑かれていたのだ。指揮官として父を非業の運命へと導いた男、クーベン・ブリスクを見つけ出さなければならない。

彼女は奴を追い詰め、ついにその時がきたと思えた。だが彼は父に敬意を示し、もっとマシな生活をと提案してきた。引き金は引いたが、命は奪わなかった。たどり着くだけで十分だった。目的を果たした後、彼女はブリスクからApexゲームへの招待状を手に入れたのだった。

バイパーの機体「ノーススター」には、新品同様のフライトコアが残っていた。これを転用し、抜群の機能性を誇るジェットパックに仕立て上げた。父の思い出も載せて。そして、ついに自らの翼で空へと飛び立った…父のタイタンを真の意味で受け継いだ瞬間だった。
