If you’ve followed us here on The Beat, you know that EA has been involved in promoting equality and diversity for our employees, fans and customers. This June, along with so many others across the globe, EA will stand with our LGBT community celebrating strength, perseverance and unity for all.

Each month at our headquarters in Redwood Shores we rotate the flags we fly to represent the different countries where we reside; but this June, in celebration of what the Pride festivals represent, we will fly the rainbow flag to not only raise awareness and show our support for the LGBT community, but more so, in our desire to work and live in a society with equality. We will have a number of activities throughout the month to celebrate Pride for employees, but we’re also very excited to broaden our participation in Pride Parades around the globe in 2013.

Last year, we had an amazing Pride experience both in Seattle and San Francisco. This year, we wanted to go even bigger. We’ll walk in not only those two cities, but also Los Angeles, Stockholm, Vancouver, Austin and Orlando. EA employees will walk (and shout, and dance…) in these parades in the cities where we work to celebrate Pride and inclusion.

We can’t wait to celebrate all throughout June and the rest of the year, so stay tuned here where we’ll share photos and stories from these different Pride celebrations.
