EA Launches EA Comics Brand with Army of Two #1

Electronic Arts announced today the availability of Army of Two #1, the debut title of the new EA Comics imprint, published in conjunction with IDW Publishing. Begining with Army of Two, each EA Comic will be released as monthly 32-page print and digital comic books. The digital versions will be readable and downloadable on the Web and through iTunes, and will also be available for mobile devices like the iPhone, PSP, and other platforms. Print comics will be collected as trade paperbacks at the end of each six-issue storyline. Later in the year, EA Comics will launch a series of exclusive webcomics that will appear as four-month, 96-page self-contained miniseries, serialized six pages per week, and then collected in trade paperbacks later. also launch In addition to the release of Army of Two #1 today, EA is also announcing the availability of Dragon Age #1, written by New York Times bestselling author Orson Scott Card, in March.

EA Comics and IDW Publishing have assembled an array of A-list talent for the comic books, including multiple award-winning comics writer Peter Milligan (writer of Army of Two), New York Times bestselling author Orson Scott Card, and artists Humberto Ramos and Jose Marzan Jr. In addition to the release of Army of Two #1 today, EA Comics is also announcing the availability of Dragon Age #1, written by Orson Scott Card, in March.
