Whatever the future holds, Frank Lampard will always be remembered as one of greatest players to ever wear Chelsea Blue. This past Saturday, he made history by becoming the club’s all-time leading goal-scorer. His two goals in their 1-2 away win against Aston Villa give him 203 since joining the club in 2001.
The city of Paris has waited 19 years for Paris Saint-Germain to once again lift the Ligue 1 trophy. The local club did so thanks to a 0-1 away victory against rivals Lyon. The game-winning and title-clinching goal was scored by Jérémy Ménez, who increased his season total to five goals.
Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge earned himself a hat-trick in their 1-3 away win over struggling Fulham. After the home side took the lead in the 33rd minute, Sturridge tied the match only three minutes later. The game-winning goal came in the 62nd minute and he would solidify the win five minutes before the end of regular time.
