Police chases. Vehicular destruction. Spine-bending speeds. At today’s E3 press conference, Criterion confirmed that it’s all on its way back in the new Need for Speed Most Wanted.

Designed for a new, more connected generation of racing fans, Need for Speed Most Wanted integrates with the newest version of Autolog to build competition into every aspect of the game. And with an open world to play in, the path to the finish line is anything you make it—from a straight run through the streets to a red-line climb over obstacles and police cars. Check out a preview of the action below:

For those who want an even richer experience, Need for Speed will be releasing a special limited edition pack featuring double speed points, custom liveries, pre-customized rollouts, and two gorgeous vehicles: the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale and the Porsche 911 Carrera S.

Need for Speed Most Wanted will be available in North America on October 30, 2012. The European release is scheduled for November 1, 2012. You can pre-order Need for Speed Most Wanted on Origin today.
