Pathfinder é a cara do otimismo, apesar das circunstâncias. Um MRVN (Medição Robótica Versátil de terreNos) com talento para reconhecimento de local e levantamento topográfico, ele foi ativado décadas atrás em um armazém abandonado sem saber quem o criou ou por quê. Apenas com a designação MRVN indicando sua identidade, Pathfinder enfim partiu em busca de seu criador. Graças à ajuda das Lendas, ele descobriu que foi construído pelos maiores cientistas das Terras Ermas para ajudar a resolver a crise energética do local.

Pathfinder aprendeu muito em suas viagens desde então (como, por exemplo, fazer um guisado de leviatã oriental), mas sua descoberta mais importante é que algumas de suas peças extras foram usadas para construir outra máquina... um filho seu. Ele originalmente se juntou aos Jogos Apex para ganhar seguidores e, com sorte, chamar a atenção de seu criador, mas agora ele pretende chamar a atenção de qualquer um que possa saber sobre seu filho. Enquanto isso, ele continua entusiasmado e prestativo, sempre pronto para fazer novas amizades (e depois atirar nelas).
