SEED is a new Research and Development group at Electronic Arts built to explore new technologies and creative opportunities for future games. Our areas of research include virtual reality, creation and representation of game worlds, deep learning and virtual humans: we are seeking to define the technologies, techniques and creative possibilities of the future of real-time entertainment.
As a central team we collaborate with all teams across Electronic Arts from our awesome existing titles and to our future IP.
The Virtual Humans team at SEED is looking for a Researcher to lead the discourse on human capture and representation. We are looking for someone who has contributed seminal ideas to the state of characters in entertainment today, who knows that much more is missing, and who is driven to push the field forward.
