Quick Drop and You

September 16, 2025

Skateboarder climbs a large abstract structure of stacked ramps to showcase the Quick Drop feature.

What better way to find a skate spot than to BUILD one?

Once you get into San Vansterdam after completing the tutorial in Isle of Grom, you’ll start your San Van Full Pull Tour to unlock more features. One of those features is the Build-Kit, aka Quick Drop.

You’ll start off with a few objects to use, like a small kicker ramp and a rail, but as you complete Challenges, open Product Boxes, and rank up your Neighborhood reps, you’ll get access to hundreds of items to drop in the world, like Pole Jams, street signs, boxes, large kickers, quarterpipes, and more.

How to Use Quick Drop

To access the Quick Drop the traditional way, hold down on the D-Pad to bring up the radial menu, and select the quarterpipe at the top.

Let go of the D-Pad and you’ll open the Quick Drop screen.

Press A (or X for PS controllers) to Add Object and select the type of object you want.

  • Ramp - from kicker ramps to quarterpipes
  • Rail - straight rails, curved rails, tall, short
  • Pad - manny pads you and throw down
  • Prop - everything from street signs you can use as a mini ramp to couches, trash cans, benches, tables, and more

But first, see that Settings option? Check it out.

Rotate

  • Angle Snap - On or Off. This allows you to snap to a set degree of angle, or smooth rotation when turning Quick Drop items
  • Angle - If Angle Snap is turned on, this will be where you can select the amount of degrees the objects will snap to.
  • Invert Rotate Axis - For the upside-down folks who like to make things harder. Just kidding, but really… why?

Camera

  • Invert Horizontal Axis - On or Off.
  • Invert Vertical Axis - On or Off.

General

  • Replace Oldest Object - Prompt or Automatic. Basically, you can place 5 Quick Drop items at a time. Once you place the 5th one, you can choose to be Prompted to replace the oldest one or it will Automatically replace it for you.

Multiplayer

  • Quick Drop Visibility - Privacy slider where you can determine what Quick Drop items you want to see in the world. You can choose Everyone, Friends and Party, Mine Only.
  • Quick Drop Editing -  Privacy slider where you can determine who can edit your Quick Drop items in the world.  You can choose Everyone, Friends and Party, No One.

Now there’s other ways to get to Quick Drop.

Press right on the D-Pad and you’ll immediately jump to the Quick Drop feature and can start building. There’s an even FASTER way - Quicker Drop. Hold right on the D-Pad and you’ll get a radial menu of some of the available items to throw down quickly via Quicker Drop.

Select your items, rotate, raise/lower, and drop ‘em!

Note: you have a green circle around the area you can currently edit in, based on the location of your skater. Items can’t be placed out of that circle while you’re in Quick Drop mode. If an object turns red, it’s not able to be dropped there.

Last few notes:

If you see something in the world and want to remove it, walk up to it and press the left stick in to Interact. Depending on the settings of the person that dropped it, you can edit it or remove it.

All Quick Drops items will be removed once you log out, so don’t worry about going around the city to remove them if you’ve left some out. (You can also Delete All of your Quick Drop items from the Quick Drop menu by pressing Y or Triangle.)

That should get you started. Stack things, collaborate with other players, hit up the ImpervaTEK parks (the community parks) to make monstrosities to shred on, have fun.

The more items you unlock through playing and progression, the more options you’ll have to make your little spot in the world.

See you in San Vansterdam!

Let’s roll.
