A battle scene with a tank firing amidst smoke and debris, soldiers advancing on rocky terrain in a war-torn landscape.

Recently Updated for Season 2: Nightfall

Tanks, jets, and helicopters. This war’s just as much about mastering vehicles as it is about your weaponry. At launch, here are all the vehicles you can hop into depending on the Combat Zone and mode:

Note: due to unique military asset suppliers, NATO and Pax Armata often have similar versions of the same vehicle type. In this case, it is noted in parentheses with the NATO vehicle listed first, and Pax Armata’s vehicle second. E.G. Glider 96 is a NATO Light Ground Transport, while the VECTOR is the Pax Armata Light Ground Transport.

LAND VEHICLES

  • DIRT BIKE: Seats two; one driver and one rear passenger. Fastest vehicle in the game with an on-command speed boost. No onboard weapons. Zero protection; can be damaged by bullets, shells and explosives with no cover. Low Health. Skilled bikers can pull off wheelies, stoppies, spin (elephant) turns, airborne spins, and flip to evade enemies or to look cool.
  • QUAD BIKE: Seats two; one driver and one rear-facing passenger. Formerly the fastest vehicle on land. No onboard weapons. Zero protection; can be damaged by bullets, shells and explosives with no cover. Low Health.
  • GOLF CART: CANNOT BE CUSTOMIZED. Seats four; one driver and three passengers. Slower than Quad Bike. Zero protection. Low Health. So Legendary, it can only be found during a match.
  • LIGHT GROUND TRANSPORT (GLIDER 96 / VECTOR): Seats five; one driver, one rooftop gunner, and three passengers in vehicle. One of the fastest vehicles in the game. Rooftop gunner has access to two weapons: a heavy machine gun (HMG) and an automatic grenade launcher (AGL), both great against soldiers and non-armored vehicles. Other passengers can use loadout weapons and repair the vehicle. Minimal protection; can be damaged by bullets, shells and explosives. Low Health.
  • ARMORED TRANSPORT (TRAVERSER MARK 2) : Can serve as a squad spawn. Seats four; one driver, three in-vehicle gunners, with one remote rooftop gunner controlled by a passenger seat operator and two turret gunners on the left and right sides of the vehicle. Slightly slower than Light Ground Transport. Provides passive benefits, including a medbay that provides increased health regeneration or a trophy system that intercepts grenades. Several remote weapon options of varying calibers, with two mounted 7.62mm turrets on the sides. Decent protection; takes minimal damage from ballistics, heavier damage from shells and explosives. Decent health.
  • INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLE (M3A3 BRADLEY / STRF 09 A4): Can serve as a squad spawn. Seats five; one driver, one gunner, and three passengers in the vehicle. Slower speed than lighter vehicles. Customizable weapons viability against all combatant types except jets, as well as customizable equipment for emergency repairs, smoke, enemy spotting and more. Protection against all bullets and light blasts, can be damaged by shells and heavier explosives. Average Health (more than Light Ground Transport, less than Main Battle Tank).
  • MAIN BATTLE TANK (M1A2 SEPV3 / LEO A4): Can serve as a squad spawn. Seats four; one driver, one gunner, and two “seats” via hitching a ride while holding onto the tank. Slow speed. Customizable weapons viability against all combatant types except jets, as well as customizable equipment for emergency repairs, smoke, enemy spotting and more. Protection against all bullets and light blasts, can take several high-damage hits from shells and heavier explosives. Highest Health of all base vehicles.
  • MOBILE ANTI-AIR (CHEETAH 1A2 / GE-26 PAX): Seats one. Slow speed. Specifically designed to counteract aerial vehicles, including jets, with lock-on and freefire weapon options. Protection against all bullets and light blasts, can be damaged by shells and heavier explosives. Average Health (same as Infantry Fighting Vehicle).

AIR VEHICLES

  • TRANSPORT HELICOPTER - UH-79: Can serve as a squad spawn. Seats seven; one pilot, two gunners and four passengers. Slowest speed of all aerial vehicles, but “easiest” to fly. Flares and emergency damage repair available for the pilot, and miniguns for the gunners on either side of the vehicle. Other passengers can use loadout weapons and repair the vehicle. Minimal protection against light bullets and all blasts, weak to shells and heavy bullets. Highest Health of all aerial vehicles.
  • SCOUT HELICOPTER (AH-6 LITTLE BIRD / MH-350): Can serve as a squad spawn. Seats four; one pilot, one gunner, and two passengers on side benches looking out the open bay doors. Fastest helicopter in the game in exchange for low health and protection against munitions. Primarily houses air-to-ground weaponry - both guns and missiles - with some air-to-air capabilities, as well as flares. Side passengers can use their personal loadout weapons while sitting on side benches.
  • ATTACK HELICOPTER (M77E Falchion / Panthera KHT): Can serve as a squad spawn. Seats two. Faster speed compared to a Transport Helicopter. Primarily houses air-to-ground weaponry - both guns and bombs - with some air-to-air capabilities, as well as flares. Protection against light bullets, can be damaged by heavier bullets and all blasts, and weak to shells. Average Health (same as Infantry Fighting Vehicle). Tied in Health with both Jets.
  • ATTACK JET (F-61V / F39-E): Seats one. Faster speed than both helicopters. Primarily houses air-to-ground weaponry - both guns and bombs - with some air-to-air capabilities, as well as flares. Protection against light bullets, can be damaged by heavier bullets and all blasts, and weak to shells. Tied in Health with Fighter Jet, Attack Helicopter.
  • FIGHTER JET (F-97 KESTREL / SU-57): Seats one. Faster speed than both helicopters. Primarily houses air-to-air weaponry - both guns and bombs - with some air-to-ground capabilities, as well as flares. Protection against light bullets, can be damaged by heavier bullets and all blasts, and weak to shells. Tied in Health with Fighter Jet, Attack Helicopter.

If you’ve never gotten behind the wheel (or in the cockpit, or the helm), there are a few things rookies should keep in mind:

  • You can always practice flying solo before heading into battle in Multiplayer Initiation modes or in Portal experiences.
  • You can use assisted controls and customize your vehicle in settings to fit your playstyle. Head to Settings > General > Controller Settings to turn on Helicopter Control Assists.
  • Remember to turn on the Inverted Look Settings, if you are used to holding down to ascend and up to descend!

There are also a variety of stationary weapons - anti-air launchers, anti-tank guns, and heavy machine guns - available in Combat Zones with vehicles. These are powerful tools with minimal protection; use with caution, but with relentless intent towards destroying vehicles or large infantry groups.
