في مدينة نيكساس التي تم بناؤها من جديد، اختارت روينا فالنتينا كوفي ديفينا ابتسامتها الدائمة التي تمنح الأمل في وسط أنقاض الانقلاب الحكومي. وهناك، أصبحت بقايا الآلي الذي سقط من فئة مونارك رمزاً للتضحية، وأصبح مصدر إلهام لقصص البطولة التي روتها روينا لأخواتها. وكانت روح الفكاهة التي تتمتع بها تمثّل درعاً لعائلتها في مواجهة قساوة الواقع، وسلاحاً سرياً في مهمة روينا لتصبح أسطورة من أساطير Apex.

ولكن عندما أصابت المأساة شقيقتها الكبرى ديوا، تحكّمت روينا في مصير عائلتها بنفسها. لقد تسلّلت إلى ساحات المعركة المحظورة، وانتشلت بطارية الآلي المشعة. وصنعت منها روينا بذلة قتال، حيث استغلت طاقتها المميتة للقتال في البطولات المحلية. وقد ساعد كل انتصار على دعم أحبائها وقرّبها من أن تصبح أسطورة، ولكن بتكلفة كبيرة:

لقد كانت تسربات البطارية تقتلها ببطء.

ولكن لم يكن ذلك مهماً. لتحقيق حلمها، كانت روينا مستعدة لدفع هذا الثمن. وأدى نجاحها إلى تحقيق قرية نيكساس المحايدة أول دعوة لها إلى ألعاب Apex، مما أدى إلى مواجهة حادة مع ديوا، والتي عرفت بمصدر الدرع القاتل. ولكن روينا اتخذت قرارها.

والآن تدخل ساحة المعركة بشخصية كوندويت. بصفتها مشجعة ومقاتلة على حدٍ سواء، ومدفوعة ببطارية الآلي من فئة مونارك، وبمهمتها الشخصية لمنح عائلتها حياة أفضل.
