ENHANCED CHEMISTRY

As mentioned, Cornerstones players will have boosted Chemistry, receiving one additional Club link, to help you create stronger connections in Football Ultimate Team™ and allow for more squad building possibilities throughout your Club.

INTRODUCING THE ULTIMATE GAUNLET

Gauntlets debut in Football Ultimate Team™ alongside Cornerstones, challenging your club depth with different squads across multiple rounds. The more matches you win within the series, the greater the reward.

The inaugural Ultimate Gauntlet will kick things off, featuring three rounds that challenge you to use a completely different squad for every match, including your entire bench. Unlike Tournaments, Gauntlets are not played in a knockout format. You can keep playing through the full Gauntlet regardless of results, but the more you win, the better the rewards.

Remember, Gauntlets are all about squad management. Spread out your fastest players across the entire competition, or try to overwhelm the opposing defence with Pace in your opener? The choice is yours.

EA SPORTS FC™ 26 TEAM OF THE WEEK

Team of the Week is back for FC 26, with a few key updates to keep it exciting and fresh all year long:

New PlayStyles & Subattribute Adjustments

Some TOTW Items may now receive new PlayStyles or subattribute tweaks that directly reflect standout real-world performances.

Lateral Upgrades

As part of our broader plan to slow the power curve in FC 26, we’re introducing more lateral adjustments to TOTW and Campaign Player Items. This means specific Subattribute, Roles or PlayStyle upgrades may be unique to that version and won’t necessarily carry forward into subsequent special versions.

Highlighting Cup Competitions

To capture the biggest club football stories, certain TOTW Items will now spotlight top moments from the world’s biggest domestic and continental cup competitions (except for UEFA competitions). Look out for a trophy icon on these Cup TOTW (CTOTW) Items to identify them.

Featured TOTWs

Featured TOTW Items remain in FC 26, with an even larger stats boost compared to standard TOTWs. The star symbol will continue to feature on these Featured TOTW (FTOTW) items.
