Charitable Giving 2025
2 décembre 2025
The year-end giving season is a great time to reflect and appreciate our communities, knowing it’s better together. At skate. we know how powerful it is to connect with people who can help you thrive and grow. That’s why we want to make skateboarding more accessible to everyone, and since 2020, we’ve invested in over 25 different charitable organizations around the world to do just that. From building skateparks to running clinics, training coaches, and providing gear these organizations are key to help more people skateboarding.
Now with the launch of Season 2 during the holiday season, the skate. team and Electronic Arts are keeping the momentum going with new grants to three incredible organizations that are shaping skate culture from the ground up and enriching lives through skateboarding: Make Life Skate Life, Skate Like a Girl, and SOA Paris.
Join us in growing the love of skateboarding by considering a donation to these organizations.
- From now until March 2, 2026, you can donate to Make Life Skate Life, Skate Like a Girl, and SOA Paris at their online fundraisers on Tiltify.
- A donation of at least USD$5.00 will unlock a special thank you from the organizations–a digital redemption code for an exclusive deck playable in skate., which was designed together with each organization.
- Redeem the code at the skate.Shop to show off your support of these incredible causes around San Vanderstam.

Make Life Skate Life is all about turning passion into pavement. Since 2013, the group has been building community-driven skateparks in underserved regions across the globe to create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can skate, build confidence, and connect with their communities. Their local approach brings skaters, volunteers, and builders together to design and construct each park, ensuring every spot reflects the unique identity and energy of its community. With 18 projects completed serving 5,000 young people each week, they’re showing that a skatepark is a place to ride and a launchpad for opportunity.

For 25 years, Skate Like a Girl has been pushing skate culture forward by making it more accessible and inclusive. With chapters in Seattle, Portland, and the San Francisco Bay Area, the nonprofit empowers young people and gender expansive people through lessons, camps, clinics, and leadership programs, serving 12,000 people annually. Their work centers on building confidence, resilience, and representation in skateboarding so that people of all ages and identities can show up exactly as they are. Beyond teaching skills, they’re helping to redefine what it means to belong in skateboarding and inspiring a new generation to make the culture their own.

Based in France, SOA Paris blends skateboarding, art, and wellbeing to uplift international communities. They focus on creating safer spaces for everyone through programs that encourage self-expression and personal growth. Their workshops and events highlight self-care, creativity, and community connection, showing the power of skating for belonging and authenticity. With 1,500+ people engaged through their programming in 2024, they're building a movement that celebrates skateboarding as a tool for freedom and collective joy.
We hope these organizations inspire you to donate, take action, and get involved in your local skateboarding communities.
