Battlefield Honors Veterans Day with Lead the Way Pack

The Battlefield franchise - and our community - is rooted in military culture. Of their own accord, U.S. Army Rangers have defined a legacy of duty spanning back to World War II, with their rallying cry, “Rangers Lead the Way,” echoing from Omaha Beach to modern-day operations. 

Starting on November 11th, which we recognize as Veteran’s Day in the United States and Armistice Day globally, the Battlefield 6 and REDSEC in-game store will offer the “Lead the Way” Pack, which we have created with insights from the National Ranger Association to ensure authenticity.

About the Lead the Way Pack

The Lead the Way Pack includes a new Soldier Skin, a Weapon Package, and four customization items, as well as a Battle Pass Tier Skip and a One Hour Battle Pass XP Boost. Our team of veteran and civilian allies worked to ensure reverence to the U.S. Army Ranger culture across all Lead the Way items, with the Bundle title - Lead the Way - being a nod to the Ranger motto: “Rangers Lead the Way!”

The following items are included:

• “Regiment” NATO Assault Soldier Skin 
  • Named after the U.S. Army’s premier large-scale Special Operations Force, the 75th Ranger Regiment. The “Regiment” skin highlights the essential and slick look of combat-ready Rangers while featuring the 2nd Ranger Battalion diamond on the back of the Army Combat Helmet (ACH). 
• “Hold Fast” Glider 96 Vehicle Skin 
  • A nod to the quick and decisive operations of U.S. Army Rangers. The "Hold Fast" vehicle skin features rugged camouflage netting and gun mount for executing off-road assaults.
• “Legacy Strike” M277 Weapon Package 
  • Named for the unwavering service, sacrifice, and courage of the Ranger legacy. The “Legacy Strike” weapon package includes an M277 with camouflaged skin and high-speed attachments designed to match the discipline and commitment of its Ranger counterpart. 
• “All the Way” Soldier Patch
  • An homage to the iconic Ranger Creed, Rangers remain fiercely committed to move further, faster and fight harder than any other Soldier. The “All the Way” patch features the signature tan beret and symbolic Fairbairn-Sykes dagger. 
• “Sua Sponte” Dog Tag 
  • This callout to the Rangers’ Latin Motto directly translates to, “Of their own accord.” The “Sua Sponte” dog tag features a soaring skull and dagger - reminiscent of Ranger airborne operations - alongside the quote, “Leading the Way.” 
• “Battleworn” Parachute 
  • Inspired by most Army Rangers; not all Rangers are paratroopers, but most take that path to Ranger School. The parachute’s design is based on traditional woodland camouflage, a consistent pattern across decades of special operations.
