EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile - Rivals Update - Patch Notes

The new Rivals Update is coming to EA SPORTS FC Mobile! Make sure to update your app and dive into the latest improvements to Division Rivals, Gameplay, and much more! 

Here’s an overview on what’s in the update:

Division Rivals Overhaul

Bring your Ultimate Team to glory with a complete overhaul of Division Rivals. Climb up the ranks in PVP modes with a new star-based rank system, redesigned interface, and rewards.

Redesigned Interface

• Division Rivals features a streamlined layout to help you track progress, see rewards, and manage your lineups.
• New pre-match hub that highlights your key Player and Division progress.
• Track your performance with a new season recap.

New Star-Based Rank System

• Collect Stars to climb up the Divisions and become an FC Champion.
• Star Shields help safeguard your position from relegation after tough losses.
• Earn new Division promotion rewards as you climb the ranks.

Weekly Leaderboards & Rewards

• Compete in weekly Leaderboards to earn rewards based on your performance.
• Win daily matches to earn extra rewards throughout the week

Upgraded Locker Room

• Easily select your kit, logo, stadium, emotes, and name board to flex your style.
• Show off on the leaderboards with the new name board.
• Choose different kits for Home and Away Matches.

Gameplay Updates

Gameplay, especially Passing and VS Attack, have seen major improvements based on critical community feedback.

Passing & Build-Up Play

• Ground Passes now better align with your aim and teammate movement, momentum, and positioning.
• Ground Through Passes lead more effectively when space is available and are less likely to overshoot along the sidelines.
• Driven Ground Passes are now more accurate and better avoid defenders based on context.

VS Attack Improvements

• Basic, Good, and Great Chances have been reworked to better reflect difficulty and quality.
• Chances end faster after saves, tackles, long fouls, or missed crosses to get you back into the action.
• New camera settings available.

More Fixes & Improvements

• Heel to Heel and Stepover & Exit now scale with player attributes, reducing speed bursts.
• Defenders with better height and jumping stats are now prioritized in central areas on corner kicks.
• Fixed an issue where the camera would remain stuck after a blocked free kick.
• Adjusted the Leagues Member Requirement Filter to show Division Rivals Rank instead of Cups or Fans.
