FC Pro World Championship
It's been a long season of exciting and captivating action in the FC Pro world. After 10 months of competition, dozens of Pro Leagues and countless unforgettable moments, we are finally here - The FC Pro World Championship.
32 players from all across the world have earned their right to play at the World Championships. But this year the competition is bigger than ever before, as the FC Pro World Championship will be held at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Also the players will be competing not only for glory and a title, but for a share of a $1 Million prize pool.
Due to unique nature if this year's event, there are two players looking to defend their title of World Champion. Firstly we have Jafonso, 2024's Esports World Cup FC winner. The Portuguese star will be representing Al-Nassr Esports in front of a home crowd in Riyadh. We also have the 2024 FC Pro World Champion Anders Vejrgang. The World No.1 player won his title in Munich in July of 2024. He'll be wearing the shirt of longtime club RBLZ Gaming for this tournament.
These two players will be joined by 30 others. This includes the likes of Emre Yilmaz, the current eChampions League holder. FacuCowen, the reigning eLibertadores and eLiga Profesional champ. And league champions from all over the world! Within this group are the four players who succeeded in the World Championship Play-Ins; PHzin, ManuBachoore, DullenMike and QRNA.
Players have been drawn into eight group four, with the first matches being the upper bracket Semi-Finals. Winners of these matches go into the upper brackets, while the defeated players will drop into the lower bracket Semi-Final. From there upper bracket players will compete in the upper bracket Final, with the winner qualifying for the knock-out stages. While the loser of the upper bracket final will drop into the lower bracket. Those who drop into the lower bracket Semi-Final will play and the winner will advance to lower bracket Final to face the player who was defeated in the upper bracket Final, while the loser will be eliminated from the tournament. The players in the lower bracket final will face off to decide the who goes through to the knock out stages.
The knock out stages will have 16 players. With the first round being Round 1. Then advancing to the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals. This will be a single elimination format, meaning that victory is the only option to continue. If you lose, you are out. No second chances.
After all of this we will be crowning our FC Pro World Champion for 2025, as they walk away with the trophy, accolades and $250,000.
