Day 2 of the eChampions League Group stage had a lot to live up to following a thrilling first day of action. Luckily for the FC community, the second day of the Group stages didn’t disappoint as there were unbelievable moments throughout.
Here’s our recap of everything that happened during the final group stage of the competition.
Manuel Bachoore made easy work of Group E, crushing all of his opponents during an impressive undefeated run through the eChampions League Group stage. Bachoore was cool and collected throughout each game, nonchalantantly dispatching the likes of Fouma, xThomas_OM and X to secure XX points to top the table.
He’ll want to maintain the momentum he’s gained as heads towards next weekend’s eChampions League Knockout stage.
Group E Qualified participants: Manuel Bachoore, DFernandes, Fouma
We predicted that SC Paderborn’s Jonny would be a player that fans should watch out for during the eChampions League 2024 season and he proved us right during the Group stage.
The German used his near unstoppable offense to take out every single one of his Group F opponents. His standout victory during the Group stages happened against Kossu72, earning a resounding 7-0 victory against the Finnish star.
He’ll now enter the eChampions League Knockout stage as a dark horse who has the potential to go the whole way.
Group F Qualified participants: Jonny, Luco Negua, Rikhard
Red Bull Leipzig's Levy Finn was able to top an incredibly tough Group G with three wins, but it was the early exit of legendary player Nicolas99fc that is the big story to come out of this group.
After completing the domestic double in LALIGA, many believed Nicolas would be a favourite heading into the eChampions League 2024 season. However, shocking losses to Brandsha and a draw with Riptorek meant that the Argentinian’s eChampions League campaign was ended before he could make it to the next round.
Group G Qualfied participants: LevyFinn, KeturDylo, Riptorek
Group H finished with Paris Saint Germain’s NKantee, on top of Group H, as he secured his entry to the Knockout stage with 9 points.
Although the Frenchman’s performance during the Group stage was solid, it was the battle for the third spot between Marley and Nacho Abella that had the FC community captivated.
Taking place in the final round of their Group stage, Marley had to score four goals to lock in his spot in the Knockout stage. Despite a determined performance from Nacho, Marley would not be denied, scoring a dramatic late-goal to win the game 6-2 to ensure he competes in the next stage.
