The 2026 Season is coming to EA SPORTS F1® 25 as a major new update, bringing with it sweeping changes across teams, drivers, cars, and racing itself. Whether you’re already deep into F1 25 or new to the world of Formula 1, this year’s release delivers a fresh take on the sport’s next era. Get ready for new ways to race, compete, and shape your legacy as you Rewrite the Grid.

Two Ways to Jump In

How you enter the 2026 season depends on where you are as a player.

If you already own F1 25, the 2026 Season Pack lets you step straight into the 2026 season with updated teams, drivers, and regulations.

If you haven't played F1 25, or if you’re new to the sport, the F1 25: 2026 Season Edition gives you everything in one place. It combines the F1 25 base game with the 2026 content, making it the ultimate racing experience.

Experience an Evolved Grid

As you load into the 2026 season, you’ll immediately notice the additions to the grid.

You can get behind the wheel of two new teams, Cadillac and Audi, each bringing their own identity into Formula 1. Cadillac arrives as a major American manufacturer, while Audi returns with a strong motorsport legacy. Their addition expands the official grid, and in My Team, your custom squad becomes the twelfth team, placing you right in the middle of a more competitive field.

Driver line-ups have changed too. You’ll see familiar names in new places, with Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez leading Cadillac’s debut. At Racing Bulls, Arvid Lindblad joins Liam Lawson, while Isack Hadjar steps in to partner Max Verstappen at Oracle Red Bull Racing.

How the Cars Feel in 2026

Once you’re on track, the biggest difference comes from how the cars handle.

You’ll be driving a new generation of Formula 1 cars that are lighter, smaller, and more responsive. That responsiveness gives you more control, but it also asks more from you as a driver.

With active aerodynamics, you can adjust your front and rear wings as you race, helping you balance speed and grip corner by corner. It’s something you’ll feel immediately, especially as conditions change or as you push to stay competitive.

In Overtake Mode, you’ll experience a significant power boost of nearly 500 horsepower. Timing becomes everything, whether you’re lining up a move down a straight or defending your position in a close battle. Use it well and you gain the advantage, use it at the wrong moment and you leave yourself open.

MADRING: A New Circuit to Master

The 2026 season also introduces MADRING, a brand-new circuit in Madrid, available only in the F1® 25: 2026 Season Pack and can only be driven with the 2026 cars.

As you learn this track, you’ll find a mix of high-speed sections and technical corners across its 5.4 km layout. The MADRING circuit is only available to drive with the 2026 cars, as this track was designed specifically for the new season. Prepare to be challenged in this hybrid street and purpose-built track.
