What’s happening my beautiful people! My name is Mike LaBelle, I’m a content creator & former professional EA SPORTS™ FIFA player. Let’s talk about VOLTA FOOTBALL. In this game mode, you interject a mix between street football expression, customization, teamwork, & a general flow that’s unique to VOLTA FOOTBALL. Expect a story mode experience combined with online madness with friends.

Game Modes

VOLTA SQUADS
Join up with other players in an online match against another squad.

VOLTA BATTLES
You can play alone or couch co-op against AI opponents to earn Battle Points & earn prizes

VOLTA ARCADE
Join up with other players for a competitive series of exclusive multiplayer games

If you’ve never tried VOLTA ARCADE. ENJOY… You will naturally spend hours playing this with your friends in a frenzy of mini games that mash up your VOLTA FOOTBALL skills with the pursuit of major bragging rights. After playing VOLTA SQUADS, we usually send off the night with a few rounds of VOLTA ARCADE.

Create an Avatar

Depending on what you’ve unlocked, some of the outfits get wild in terms of expression in VOLTA FOOTBALL. You start with a baseline selection, but as you play more VOLTA FOOTBALL you will naturally unlock a larger variety for the fit checks.

Squad Up

I predominantly play VOLTA FOOTBALL online with friends. So, we try to balance our squad between who’s available to play. Whether utilising a mix of more defensive players or overloading offensive builds, VOLTA FOOTBALL offers options to strategize. Also, there are a few different game choices & formation alignments that go with each of those selections:

• 3v3 Rush
• 4v4
• 4v4 Rush
• 5v5

Upgrading your Avatar (Player)

You upgrade attributes via skill points earned by playing VOLTA SQUADS or VOLTA BATTLES. In addition, you’ll be able to choose and play around with the different Signature Abilities to find the best one for your playstyle.

Choose a Signature Ability

• Boomer Shot ** Shooting Boost **
• Overdrive ** Speed Boost **
• Enforcer  ** Physical / Defending Boost **
• Take Flight ** Aerial / Flair Shooting Boost **    
  • Little more difficult to explain, but you receive an advantage in the air to go with finishing in those circumstances

Using VOLTA COINS

Visit the VOLTA SHOP & increase the customization using your VOLTA COINS. You can really swag out your player, before going into matches or playing VOLTA ARCADE. Every week our squad changes outfits to match up some similar colorways so we aren’t lost on the virtual pitch. It’s like an unofficial uniform.
