NHL 18 HUT Trade Deadline Event
The NHL Trade Deadline is here and NHL 18 is covering all the movement in Hockey Ultimate Team.
Stay up to date with all of the trade deadline action in HUT. Be on the lookout for daily content featuring players on the move and new sets themed around some of the biggest trade deadline deals in NHL history. If it happens in hockey it will be happening in the Trade Deadline event.
DAILY CONTENT
Starting February 16, daily player items will be released from any trades that take place on the previous day. Player items will also be released that feature players who were traded during the month of February.
All Trade Deadline Player items will be available for the remainder of the event.
All Trade Deadline Player items will only be available in trade deadline packs.
*Players must have an existing player item in Hockey Ultimate Team to receive an inform player item.
TRADE DEADLINE SETS
To complete the Trade Deadline Player Sets, you will need:
- Trade Deadline Collectibles
- Gold, and/or Carbon Collectibles
- Trade Deadline player items that can only be found in the Trade Deadline packs.
Some of the Sets can also be completed multiple times, so you can re-obtain an item you may have used to complete another Set.

Trade Deadline Competitive Seasons:
There will be a two round HUT Trade Deadline Competitive Season that you can compete in for the opportunity to earn rewards like exclusive Trade Deadline Player Items, Trade Deadline packs and coins! The Trade Deadline Competitive Season will run from February 16th to March 1 and each round will be 6 days long.
If you finish in the top 100 for the Trade Deadline Competitive Seasons season, you will earn an exclusive 95 overall Matt Duchene Trade Deadline player item that can only be obtained through Competitive Seasons. There will also be an exclusive 92 OVR Adam Henrique Trade Deadline player item and 93 OVR Kyle Turris Trade Deadline player item for those who finish in the top 100 during round 1 and round 2 respectively. Trade Deadline Draft Champions:
There will be a new HUT Trade Deadline Draft Champions theme available throughout the event. In this theme, you will be able to find Trade Deadline player items in rounds to select for your Draft Champions theme. Additionally, there is a prospect of earning a HUT Trade Deadline-themed reward if you win all four games with the Trade Deadline Draft Champions theme.
