9歳の頃、ローバは亡霊のごとき暗殺者レヴナントが家族の命を奪う光景を目の当たりにした。すべてを失ったローバは、盗みを働くことで生きながらえてきた。腕を磨き、貧しい生活から這いあがるためにあらゆる手口を使った。そんな彼女に転機が訪れた。侵入不可と思われた施設に忍び込み、ジャンプドライブテクノロジーを手にした。テレポーテーションブレスレットを身に着けたローバは、どれほど厳重に警戒されようとも意に介さず、狙ったものは確実に奪い取った。夢に見た上流階級の暮らしさえも。

噂はアウトランズ中に広まり、「ブツがどんなに守られていようともローバなら」というのがもはや共通認識となった。忌まわしい過去を忘れることができる、彼女がそう思い始めたときだった。レヴナントがApexゲームに姿を現し、あの記憶が未来を覆い尽くした。ローバは殺人鬼を葬る手がかりを求めて、レヴナントの体がひしめく施設を急襲。その際にスカルタウンとサンダードームを崩落させてしまう。だが同時に、この場所がフロンティアに眠る類似施設1つに過ぎないという知見も得たのだった。そして彼女はレヴナントが死を渇望することを知り、奴を生きながらえさせるという復讐を誓った。ローバはゲームに参戦する。レヴナントに絶え間なき復讐を果たすために。戦場に財宝が眠っていることを考えれば、新たな復讐はいいこと尽くめというわけだ。
