在重建後的樞紐家園，羅伊娜．瓦倫蒂娜．科菲．迪維娜選擇保持樂觀，她的笑容成為了這場政變殘局中的希望。而倒下的泰坦殘骸則變成犧牲的象徵，啟發了羅伊娜為她的兄弟姐妹編織的英雄傳奇故事。她的幽默感是為家人所準備的防護罩，使他們免受現實的摧殘，也是她自我激勵成為 Apex 英雄的秘密武器。

但當悲劇發生在羅伊娜的大姊迪娃身上時，她便一肩背負起家人的命運。她進入戰場禁區並搜刮泰坦的輻射性電池。羅伊娜以此打造了一具戰鬥裝置，並利用那致命的能量參加當地的比賽。每場勝利都幫助支持了她所愛的人，讓她更接近成為英雄，但也付出了慘痛的代價：
