阿傑‧切，綽號「生命線」，她並不是普通的 Apex 遊戲參賽者。她出生於富裕的戰爭奸商家庭中，但當她發現自己家人的行為對世界所造成的傷害後，她便離家出走並加入了邊境軍團，這是一個幫助邊境社群的人道組織。她在那之後便致力於幫助他人並加入 Apex 遊戲，為有需要的人提供更多資金。
由於大家對遊戲都有一定的了解，人人都知道自己報名參加的是什麼，而且生命線的每一次勝利都代表幫助了那些需要幫助的人，所以她對於參與這種受歡迎的流血運動毫不抗拒。或至少她是這麼告訴自己的。她看起來可能刻薄冷酷，但在內心深處是想著要幫助人們並讓世界變得更美好。如果這代表得在過程中有人必須犧牲，那也無妨。
但是當現實中一道裂縫吞噬了她忠誠的治療機器人 D.O.C. 時，生命線伸出援手，犧牲了自己的手，才勉強將 D.O.C. 拉回現實。生命線沒有在宇宙的重量下崩潰，而是使用神經機械植入物「修復」了受傷的手，接著將 D.O.C. 修復得更好用。
現在，生命線被各種混亂事件牽連的日子結束了。她會按照自己和 D.O.C. 的方式，不顧一切地處理這些事件。
