 PopCap Games today announced the soft launch of Plants vs. Zombies™2 for Android™ devices on the Google Play™ store, now live in Australia and New Zealand for real-world play testing, and following the successful release of the Chinese edition last month.

PopCap Games today announced the soft launch of Plants vs. Zombies™2 for Android™ devices on the Google Play™ store, now live in Australia and New Zealand for real-world play testing, and following the successful release of the Chinese edition last month.  The full global release of Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android will launch shortly.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a time-traveling adventure that propels players through different historical eras armed with a range of specialized plants to face off with zombies from various time periods, and will be free to download and play. A sequel to one of the most popular game franchises in recent history, the Android adaptation brings the same compelling action and quirky humour—already beloved by players the world over—to millions more fans around the globe.
