Rise of the Hutt Cartel brings Same Gender Romance to SWTOR

Star Wars: The Old Republic's next digital expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, will introduce several new systems, five new levels, a new planet called Makeb, new storylines, skills and abilities and Same Gender Romance to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Jeff Hickman, of Bioware, wrote about the inclusion in his second 'State of the Game' blog post earlier this year.

FIFA 13 wins 2012 AbleGamers Accessible Mainstream Game of the Year

FIFA 13 has been awarded the 2012 AbleGamers Accessible Mainstream Game of the Year for its adoption of the game accessibility guidelines of Includification. The AbleGamers Foundation commended the game on the option for users to control the entire game with only a mouse and tweak its AI and PC settings.

R18+ classification becomes law in Australia

As of the first of January the adult classification rating for games has come into effect in Australia. Although Queensland is still waiting for the law to be amended (and will most likely be waiting until late February), the Classification Board of Australia can now rate games as R18+ for display and sale.
