Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam Tournament with Multiplay

 EA Store and DICE are working with Multiplay are bringing you a new Bad Company 2: Vietnam tournament! We want  your team or community to participate in our brand new Bad Company 2: Vietnam competition, with some very nice prizes up for grabs. But what are they I hear you cry?! Well, for entering at least, Multiplay are offering existing customers 1 free month to their server contract if they enter! *** Tournament winning prizes are kindly being given by DICE and EA Store, and will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

Currently the tournament is scheduled to be run over 3 days, the 18th, 19th and 20th December – Where EA Store will have Vietnam for sale at £9.99!

The tournament structure is 5v5, Infantry Only, Single Elimination.

Day 1 and 2 will be stand alone 32 team elimination tournaments. The Winners of day 1 and 2 will then be brought back to face each other on day 3 in a Grand Final.

Day 1 and 2 will both begin at 6pm GMT and run straight through all 5 rounds until we have our winner. Teams are free to enter both Day 1 and 2 (except for the winner of Day 1).

Multiplay have decided to enter a team comprised solely of our best BC2 players (Yes we are great at the game!…lol) and we have just received confirmation that Team Dignitas will also be participating.

***Not already a Multiplay Customer? If you hire a server between now and the tournament you will still be entitled to the free month additional service!!

Additional Information:

• Please all be in #multiplay.bc2v at 5:30pm to be ready for your games.
• Tournament sign-ups are now open and will remain open until the day of each tournament in December. The sign-ups will close approximately 2 hours before the event starts.
• Time is of the essence ladies and gentlemen so waste none and get signed up! There is a cap of 32 teams per day so to ensure your space don’t waste any time. Places are served on a first come first serve basis so hurry and signup! The Rules will be released shortly! Please be sure to have checked these as they are mandatory.
• All News updates for the competition will be released on this News page so please be sure to check back regularly regarding scheduling and dates/times of play. Currently the competition will be scheduled to begin on Saturday 18th December at 6pm GMT.
• All participating players must have entered their PB GUIDs into their account details. This can be done at the tournament website -> Log In -> My Account -> Battlenet Info (Yes we know its labelled incorrectly. Please enter your PB GUID into this box and save it in the bottom left.
• For additional team information i.e. who has signed up, how many have signed up to your team etc simply go to http://tournaments.multiplay.co.uk -> Click Bad Company 2 in the left hand menu -> Click “Teams” that will appear underneath Bad Company 2 -> Hover over the team you wish to see the members of and they will appear for you.
• The tournament page is where all your game and tournament information will be displayed. Log in there and it will tell you “Your Matches” on the left hand side where, once scheduled, your games will apear. It will also display the server information along with start time. For more information regarding fixtures, standings and results simply wait until the tournament is scheduled and the tabs will appear exactly where you find the “Teams” tab.
