Unsurprisingly it's Arsenal who dominate the team this week.
The EA SPORTS Team Of The Week

Week 10 of the Barclays Premier League once again threw up some memorable matches, none more so that the stunning 3-5 victory to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.  Thus it's no surprise that Arsenal dominate this week's EA SPORTS Team of the Week.

With Robin Van Persie's hattrick, Theo Walcott's solo effort, and Andre Santos' neat finish - all three players are walk up starters.  David De Gea makes the cut for his clean sheet at Everton.

Aleks Kolarov was in fine form for Manchester City against Wolves scoring a crucial goal.  Garreth Bale scored twice while his fellow left footer Rafael van der Vaart scored for the fifth time in a row, this time at QPR.

Demba Ba put in a stirling effort with a fine hattrick to heap misery on Stoke.  Fulham star Clint Dempsey also impressed with his goal making him the joint top American scorer of all time in the EPL.  And Daniel Agger stood tall for Liverpool at centre back in their win over West Brom 2-0.

Here's the full line up...

EA SPORTS Team of the Week - Week 10

With thanks to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, we also have these interesting stats from this past round of matches.

Chelsea vs. Arsenal

• Robin Van Persie was once again the hero for Arsenal as his stunning hatrick helped Arsenal to a very impressive 5-3 win away to Chelsea. The Dutchman’s conversion rate in the game cannot be faulted as The EA SPORTS Player performance Index shows he scored from 3 out of the 4 shots that he had on target in the 90 minutes.

• According to The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index Van Persie covered 6.95 miles during the game, this was the 3rd highest distance travelled by an Arsenal player behind 2nd placed Mikel Arteta (7.53 miles) and 1st Placed Aaron Ramsey (7.83 miles). Ramsey covered more millage than any other player during the game showing once again what a high work ethic the young Welshman possesses.

Tottenham vs. QPR

• This was a game which saw Rafael Van Der Vaart equal a club record as he bagged a Premier League goal for the 6th consecutive match. In the last few game weeks The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index has shown that Van Der Vaart has often been towards the bottom when it comes to the total distance travelled during a game for Tottenham players. However during game week 10 the Dutchman covered 7.35 miles, this was his highest distance covered during a Premier League game so far this season and only Gareth Bale covered more distance than him during the game vs. QPR with 7.4 miles.

• Interestingly The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index shows Tottenham had the slowest average speed as a team than any other Premier League team during game week 10 (2.77mph) with QPR having the 2nd slowest (2.8mph).

Everton vs. Manchester United

• After game week 9’s 6-1 thrashing at the hands of neighbours City, a clean sheet and solid performance has put United’s season back on track after a 1-0 win away to Everton. Wayne Rooney was employed as a midfielder for this game and certainly put in a shift for his team. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index backs this claim up showing that he covered 7.82 miles and had the highest average speed in play with 6.09mph during the game; this was higher than any other of his team mates during game week 10.

Swansea City vs. Bolton

• Swansea City are certainly enjoying their time in the Barclays Premier League and after a 3-1 home victory against Bolton they find themselves sat comfortably in a mid-table position. The EA SPORTS Player performance Index tells us that Bolton covered 58.63 miles as a team during the game; this was the lowest of any Premier League team during game week 10 and almost 12 miles less than their opponents Swansea covered as a team (7.45 miles) in the 90 minutes.

Manchester City vs. Wolves
• Manchester City maintained their 5 point lead at the top of the Premier League with a 3-1 victory at home to Wolves. Wolves certainly put up a fight with The EA SPORT Player performance Index showing that Mick McCarthy’s side covered 78.21 miles as a team during the game, more than any other Premier League team during game week 10 and almost 4 miles more than 2nd highest Norwich who covered 74.31 miles of ground as a team in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

• The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index proves Jamie O’Hara covered the most distance of any Premier League player during game week 10 with an impressive 7.9 miles

West Brom vs. Liverpool

• The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index tells us that Daniel Agger recorded the highest top speed out of any Premier League player during game week 10 reaching a top speed of 26.83mph, this was 0.4mph faster than Mikel Arteta who was in 2nd place with 26.79mph

Stoke vs. Newcastle United

• Demba Ba grabbed his 2nd hatrick of the season as Newcastle shot up to 3rd in the table and extended their impressive 10 game unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 victory over a strong Stoke City side. Ba quite literally ran the show covering 6.65 miles during the game, only the two Danny’s Simpson (6.83 miles) and Guthrie (6.87 miles) covered more distance for the Magpies.

• Leon Best is beginning to live up to his potential and is striking up a formidable relationship with Demba Ba so far this season. Best hit a top speed of 26.72mph during the match, the highest top speed recorded by any player from either side during the 90 minutes.
