Check out these FAQs to get growing on Steam.

We hope you’re ready for an extra-humid summer, players, because Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is coming to Steam! From there you’ll dive into exciting multiplayer battles, explore three puzzling free-roam regions, play as and customize the craziest characters, and more! We can’t wait for you to join the mayhem. And for more information on Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville on Steam, check out these FAQs.

Will players be able to group up and play with friends who have the game on Origin?

Yes. When you launch the game through Steam, an Origin extension will also launch, you can use this to invite friends or be invited by your friends to join their game.

How do I invite my friends to join my game on Steam?

Once you have started the game from Steam and Origin has launched you will need to add your friends via the Origin launcher and invite them through that. Please note: you will not be able to invite via the Steam friends list or import your friends directly from Steam to Origin.

Will players on Steam and Origin be grouped together for PC multiplayer matches?

Yes. All players on PC from both Origin and Steam will be in the same matchmaking pool.

If I have the game on Origin and I buy it on Steam, will I keep my progress?

Yes. As long as you login to the game with the same Origin ID, your progress will carry over.

Are there any feature/gameplay differences between Origin and Steam?

Nope. It’s the same great game, just a different launcher.

Will my Origin Premier Discount apply to purchases on Steam?

Currently no. If you have an Origin subscription the discount will only apply to purchases made when launched via Origin. We hope to have this changed in the future*.

*We have a bug which we are working to fix.  If you launch PvZ on Steam and link your Steam account to an EA Account which owns an Origin Access subscription, certain Rux store item prices may be incorrectly displayed, meaning the price shown in the store is different to the price charged at checkout.
