The unveiling of the new XBox confirms what we have all been waiting for – the next generation of gaming has arrived.

Today marks the day of something very new and very exciting for everyone who likes to play games. The unveiling of the new XBox One confirms what we have all been waiting for – the next generation of gaming has arrived. Our job at EA is to breathe the life into this new generation of hardware and offer games with authentic, emotional, intelligent, connected innovations  that will define the way we play games for years to come.

I can’t wait for you to see our line up. The new sports engine, EA SPORTS Ignite, is pioneering the development of deep and truly immersive sports games. EA SPORTS FIFA will deliver the most authentic football game allowing fans to experience all the drama and passion of match day. Our award-winning Frostbite engine is already demonstrating the power of technology in the dramatic, human and believable gameplay in Battlefield 4. These game engines are designed to bring you the very best experience across all gaming genres. Whether it’s sports, racing or shooting; we’ll have something for everyone.

For those of you who won’t be at E3 in Los Angeles, please tune into our press conference to see for yourself exactly what these games can do. You’ll see a showcase of next-generation games like Battlefield 4, Need For Speed, a full range of EA SPORTS games and a first look at our plans for the Star Wars partnership with Disney. Tune in on Monday, June 10 at 9PM (BST) at www.ea.com/uk/e3 to experience it all in real time.

I look forward to sharing more about our upcoming line-up so stay tuned for further updates.

 Keith
