FIFA Ultimate Team – Community Team of the Season

EA SPORTS Football

We commence Team of the Season with our Community Gold and Silver/Bronze squads, as chosen by FIFA Ultimate Team users.

This week, the Team of the Season squads for FIFA Ultimate Team will be revealed. There will be eight squads in all, and our first are the Community Teams of the Season, featuring stand-out players from around the world that haven’t already been selected in previous FUT Team of the Weeks. Both a Gold team and a Silver/Bronze team were determined by FUT fans in our forums.

One of the reasons for Bayern Munich’s success this season has been the fine play of their entire squad. Even those who support other German clubs can’t deny the hard work each player has put into this season. Among the standouts is Spanish defender Javi Martinez. He joined the club this season and has played a key role on the defensive side. His two goals and three assists are pretty good numbers for his position, even more so considering he’s only played in 25 league matches.

Being one of the older players on the current Arsenal roster hasn’t phased midfielder Mikel Arteta. In his second season with the club, he has amassed 6 goals and 3 assists in 32 Premier League matches, matching his totals from last season. Arsenal is looking to secure a berth in next season’s premier European club competition and Arteta will ned to perform well if they hope to do so.

A huge fan-favourite at Everton, defender Phil Jagielka signed a contract extension earlier this year that will keep him with the club until 2017. His role as vice-captain is part of the reason why the club has had a positive 2012-13 season, currently holding firm in sixth place. Although a spot in Europe may be out of reach, finishing ahead of cross-town rivals Liverpool FC is probably a greater victory.
