Players can have a pet sidekick and become best friends with them, or they can choose to be a pet themselves and live valiantly or deviously in the neighbourhood. New to the The Sims 3 Pets on the Nintendo 3DS is the use of Nintendo's pedometer to collect play coins and spend them on Karma Powers. Karma Powers can speed up or slow down gameplay depending on how they are used. Good Karma Powers can instantly boost your Sims' and pets' moods while bad Karma Powers can upset or nauseate them. Players will also have the ability to upload and share their pet creations with friends using Nintendo StreetPass.

Whether you're sneaky, slobby, aggressive or loyal, you can play it both ways with The Sims 3 Pets on Nintendo 3DS. You can also get your paws on The Sims 3 Pets on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC/Mac.
