November 17
Deep Dive - FC Pro Live

Weekly promotions offer some of the best items in FC24 to give both regular and pro players the chance to take their Ultimate Team to the next level, and at the dawn of the FC Pro Open, our latest offering will see items released and upgraded in a completely brand new way.

Coming up after November’s Triple Threat promotion, the power is now being handed to the players, and their performances will dictate how many upgrades each item gets. This is FC Pro Live.

Players at the FC Pro Open will be assigned an item across the entire competitive season, and the better they perform, the better that item will get. Boosts to statistics is one of the first ways in which players will improve, allowing items to maintain their value as the power curve gets stronger with the release of new promotions each week. That’s a significant factor to consider for esports fans, who could be confident of certain stars running deep in tournaments across the competitive season – and therefore increasing the chances of their FC Pro Live item receiving further upgrades.

With so many players available for your Ultimate Team, the decision when narrowing down options can often come down to their skill moves and weak foot level. To help you rise up the Rivals ladder, or participate in Champions, FC Pro Live offers upgrades to players in categories in which they are below five stars, allowing items to be optimised for your team and respective playstyles.

Speaking of playstyles, we’ve also ensured to include them in the FC Pro Live promotion, helping to provide items with greater versatility across the esports competitive season. Playstyles have helped transform FC24 and they are another key determining factor in putting your squad together.

Anticipate is proving to be a popular option among both pros and regular players, with the likes of Laurent Blanc and Thiago Silva used often online after their recent release as squad building challenges, while other users favour options with playstyles offering other advantages. Of course, they might also have just conceded a finesse shot against the Playstyle+ of Son Heung-Min or a long-range trivela.

But regardless of the preferred playstyle that you look for in an item, we realise the importance of them going forward, and that’s why FC Pro Live will see Ultimate Team items unlock new playstyles relative to their position, helping items improve even further to increase their chances of making an impact for your team.
