Get it Done and Shut it Down!

September 16, 2025

First time you load in, you’ll hit the Isle of Grom and start your tutorial on how to skate, with some basic quick tips on Ollies, Kickflips, Grinds, and more. That’s your first Mission.

Once you get through the tutorial on the Isle of Grom, you’ll need to continue your Missions from Izzy (our top San Vansterdam City Councilor) to open up the city of San Vansterdam. But that’s not all there is to do - as you progress, you’ll open up more Missions, Challenges, and Bounties.

Let’s talk about Missions and Challenges.

Missions

Missions are the SVCC’s way of introducing you to the city and skateboarding in San Van. You can find and track Missions in the Hub. What’s the SVCC? That’s the San Van City Council, the skaters who took over running San Van when M-Corp suddenly left in 2024.

Select Missions, and you’ll see the Missions available to you, a description of the missions, and the completion conditions, as well as the rewards for completing the Mission. There’s Main Missions and Side Missions to complete, so get to work.

Track the mission, find it on the map, and get it done. (And if you don’t want it tracked, you can always go back and Untrack it through the Missions menu.)

Challenges

Challenges are Own the Spot, Session, Stunt, Line, and Speedline Challenges to test your skills in the game - and get you some Rip Chips when you complete them. Don’t worry if a Challenge is giving you a hard time - you can claim what you’ve completed and come back later to Shut it Down.

You can open the Map and select a Challenge to have a waypoint to it, or use the San Van transit system (aka the bus) to get closer if you’re further away. Lock in to the Challenge (and you can bring some friends for Co-Op Challenges) and knock out those objectives. If you Shut it Down, you’ve done every objective.

Bounties

Bounties are Daily, Weekly, and Monthly objectives to complete to earn Rip Chips, Tix, or both. We’ve also got Event Bounties (live during in-game events) and Endless Bounties (we’ll dive into those shortly), as well as Crew Bounties.

In the Hub, Bounties are right above Missions and Crew Bounties.

Spotlight Bounties

Spotlight Challenges jump in weekly, with specific Challenges adding a bonus objective. Knock them out to get extra rewards.

Challenges don’t reset daily, but once you’ve knocked them out, you can go back to complete any Spotlight Challenges to get those extra rewards.

Every Bounty (except Crew Bounties, which contribute to their respective Crews) now contributes to the Neighborhood you choose to rep, giving you more control over how you progress. As you level up one Neighborhood, you'll naturally unlock the next, so every skating session contributes toward both Neighborhood progression. You’ll also be earning Rip Chips to open those Product Boxes. Opening Product Boxes also increases your Rip Score, and with each level, you get more customization options for your profile banner and other goodies to use in San Van.

Crew Bounties

The Daks (Hedgemont), the SV Locs (Gullcrest Village), and the DLCs (Market Mile) represent the San Van Crews, and they’ve got some Bounties for you. Master each neighborhood by conquering these permanent, escalating series of bounties from the DaKs, SVLocs, and DLC crews. They start easy but ramp up quickly, rewarding you with exclusive crew-themed gear as you advance through each page.

Endless Bounties

Finished your regular objectives? Endless Bounties keep the session alive with fresh ways to progress. And if you’re not feeling the one we’ve served up, you can reroll with Rip Chips to try something new.

That’s it to get you started. It’s up to you to dive in and get to work on those Missions, Challenges (solo or co-op), and all the Bounties.

See you in San Van,

Let’s roll.
