當變幻從她的維度進入另一個維度時（她對於過去守口如瓶），身上就只有兩樣東西：跨維度的虛空穿越科技，以及想盡情享樂的慾望。她偷了最美味的食物、學會了在逆境中戰鬥，並為了個人喜好而打零工，不過看在利益或趣味的份上，她從不介意出賣客戶。她從不需要對自己行為的後果負責，使得她的道德和責任感蕩然無存。她的焦點只放在一件事上，就是讓生活永遠不無聊。
變幻被吸引到各個處於徹底毀滅邊緣的世界。無論是毀滅的狀況早已發生，或是她自己就是那造成世界末日的災星，她都會在現場觀看隨之而來的災變。畢竟，只有在那些時刻，人們才卸下一直戴著的面具，她才能看到人們真實的面目。
尋找這些引發世界末日的大事很靠運氣。有時她能如願以償，其他時候，她則早已錯過遭摧毀世界的重大事件。但在這些已毀滅的世界裡，變幻發現了一個有趣的共同點……
