It Takes Two is Coming to Nintendo Switch!
It Takes Two is back, now on a more portable screen! On November 4, 2022*, the winner of over 90 awards - including The Game Awards and DICE’s Game of the Year - is coming to Nintendo Switch™. In a fantastical world with unpredictability hiding around every corner, players will embark on the craziest co-op journey of their lives where only one thing’s for certain: we’re better together.
Pure Co-Op Perfection on Nintendo Switch
With the Switch’s mobile capabilities, players can now play couch co-op at home or on-the-go with a second pair of Joy-Cons or a controller per player, use local wireless play by connecting two Nintendo Switch consoles, or play online co-op with another Nintendo Switch player. Like with the original release, players who own the game can invite a friend to play for free using Friend’s Pass**.
Meet Turn Me Up Games!
Originally developed by Hazelight Studios, this new version of It Takes Two is being delivered by Turn Me Up Games, a team of 300+ veteran developers. Faithfully bringing game experiences to Nintendo Switch is their specialty, with years of experience under their belt - including their first collaboration with Hazelight that brought Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons to the Switch and mobile. Starting in November, fans and new players alike can experience the same genre-bending co-op adventure as with the original release, now adapted with a new level of mobility that’s just perfect for two.
Supporting More Players with Additional Languages
In addition, It Takes Two is becoming even more accessible to players worldwide with voice-overs in new languages, including French, German, Spanish and Japanese, as well as subtitles available in English, Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian, Portuguese and Russian. This will also be coming to the original HD platforms in the future - we can’t wait for more players around the world to try this adventure for themselves!
It Takes Two is now available for pre-order and launches in retail and digital storefronts on November 4, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED for $39.99. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Origin and Steam) players can download the game now for $39.99.
