Chillingo’s brand new title Contre Jour, was selected as Apple's iPad Game of the Week in less than three days and has already shot to the top of the App Store charts to become the number one top iPad paid app in the U.S.
Within one day of launch, Firemint’s SPY Mouse rose to the top iPhone paid app and top grossing app in the U.S. SPY Mouse is Apple’s iPhone Game of the Week this week, with top placement across ‘All Games,’ ‘Action’ and ‘Adventure’ categories. This week, SPY Mouse is also featured as Starbucks and iTunes’ popular Pick of the Week card program, giving customers free access to the game. Participating U.S. company-operated stores and select licensed Starbucks stores stock a limited supply of Pick of the Week cards that are redeemable at the iTunes store for a complimentary entertainment offering.
PopCap’s Bejeweled 2 + Blitz hit the number one top free apps list for iPhone in the U.S. over the weekend. Bejeweled Blitz was the number six most visited game on Facebook in July with more than 3 million daily active users.
