Welcome the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League back to Ultimate Team with new dynamic Road to the Final players that champion the clubs still vying for European glory.
RTTF players upgrade with each step towards the trophy—the further a player’s team makes it out on the pitch, the more upgrades they’ll earn.

HOW IT WORKS
Each Road to the Final player has the potential to upgrade based on how far their club goes in the knockout stages of their respective UEFA competition. Although each competition is structured slightly differently, the same general upgrade path applies to each.
First upgrade: +1 IF
Second upgrade: +1 IF
Third upgrade: +1 IF
Fourth upgrade: +1 PlayStyle+
Fifth upgrade: +1 IF, 5*WF, 5*SM

FAQ
WHEN WILL PLAYERS BE UPGRADED IN-GAME?
Upgrades will go live in-game starting on the Friday after the first round of the knockout stages. This means RTTF players will be upgraded at the end of a week following a milestone victory or qualification.
DOES THE PLAYER HAVE TO PLAY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE UPGRADES?
Road to the Final upgrades are only based on team performance, so a player doesn’t have to feature in the game (or any games) to be eligible.
IF A PLAYER ALREADY HAS ONE OR TWO PLAYSTYLES+, WILL THEY BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE FOURTH UPGRADE AND RECEIVE A SECOND/THIRD PLAYSTYLE+?
Yes—Road to the Final items will be the first in Ultimate Team with the potential to have three different PlayStyles+.
