Madden NFL Mobile - Ultimate Freeze

The holiday season is officially kicking off in Madden NFL 26 Mobile with the highly anticipated Ultimate Freeze event, bringing with it a mix of fan-favorite mechanics and exciting new community-focused challenges! 

Not only do we have a flurry of fantastic football challenges lined up for this frosty stretch of the holidays, but we’ve got a slew of secret surprises waiting for you too.

Not to mention, there are a few special seasonal visitors hitting the Gridiron this December, and bringing some new wild and wintry ways to win!

We’ve got more challenges, rewards, and players than you can fit in your stocking over here in Madden NFL 26 Mobile, so let’s start unwrapping what you’re getting with the new Ultimate Freeze event!

A Blizzard Of A Blitz

In Ultimate Freeze, your main gameplay map will utilize a mechanic similar to the one seen during the Most Feared event, focused on finding the correct combinations to unlock rewards. However, the theme this time around is shifting to a bit more of a seasonal flair, with a festive Toy Factory! 

At the start of the event, ten unique blueprints will be released alongside hints that require the community to work together to identify the correct component and color combinations to craft the toys for the Toy Factory!

The event’s centerpiece is the charismatic new character, Blitz The Elf.

Much like Vamp Bailey before him, Blitz will serve as the event’s primary mechanic. 

Just like the mechanics in Most Feared, you’ll start with a FREE Uncommon Blitz The Elf and then collect resources in order to level up Blitz The Elf from Uncommon all the way to Mythic!

A key feature of this card is its versatility: Blitz the Elf is a Dual Play Card, capable of being slotted in as either a Halfback or a Kick Returner. This flexibility will be a major asset for team building!

All Together Now!

Another significant new addition is the Community Challenge aspect of Ultimate Freeze. The game will track the progress of the community in the Ultimate Freeze challenges, and the better the community does as a whole, the more milestones they’ll reach and the more rewards they’ll receive!

Three reward milestones have been established based on the averages of past events, with a fourth bonus tier being added for those who can’t resist a good challenge. 

Hitting these milestones will award Present Shards, which players can use to craft Presents they can open on Christmas Day!

Trimming The Tree

And that’s not all, we’ll also have a whole slew of awesome, holiday themed event challenges that will be housed on a third, Christmas Tree-themed map! 

This area contains bonus events like the Top Ornaments Challenges, where one challenge per day will allow players to earn presents to open on Christmas Day on their own! This will be the only solo way to get presents during Ultimate Freeze.

Additionally, three special challenges will unlock on Christmas Day, tied to the home teams of the three NFL games being played that day, becoming available when those games officially air!

Past Your Presents, On To The Future!

Of course, it wouldn't be Ultimate Freeze without the Madden Ghosts holiday offers!

They’ll be back for a hauntingly good time on December 24th, 25th, and 26th, with two Ghosts released each day: Past, Present, and Future. 

One will be available to build through trades, and one will be store-exclusive.

So, whether you're coordinating with the community to crack the codes in Santa's Workshop, leveling up  Blitz The Elf, or earning Present Shards for those big Christmas Day reveals, there is more than enough icy-cold action to keep you warm all month long!

You’d better start on that list, though, because Ultimate Freeze thaws out on January 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET!
