Introducing the Battlefield 6 Battle Pass and Battlefield Pro, Coming in Season 1

In Battlefield, there are many paths to victory - it’s up to you to choose how you want to earn free and premium content in the brand-new Battle Pass and Battlefield Pro, coming alongside Season 1 for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC on October 28.

The Battle Pass is a seasonal reward system for customization and functional content: play Battlefield 6 or REDSEC to earn new weapons for your Loadout, progression boosts, and gear for your in-game soldier, weapons, vehicles and Player Profile. Each seasonal Battle Pass will offer over 100 Tiers of free and premium rewards, with additional Tiers to be unlocked during the season. As part of our seasonal offering for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC, each Battle Pass - including its Ultimate and Prestige paths for completionists, as well as special tiers to be added in mid-season updates - is meant to be completed over the course of a full season. Season 1 launches October 28, 2025 and spans into 2026.

The premium Battle Pass, which includes access to earn all 100+ Tiers, instant rewards and a 10% Battle Pass Progression Boost, available from October 28 until the end of Season 1 for 1,100 BFC, or Battlefield Currency, the in-game currency that can be bought on digital platforms. No purchase is necessary to unlock the Battle Pass’ Free Tiers*, which includes all functional content such as Weapons.

Battlefield Pro - also known as BF Pro - unlocks the full potential of the Battle Pass, as it grants full access to all premium Tiers as well as Pro-only items, 25 Tier Skips, a 15% Battle Pass Progression Boost (replacing the 10% Premium Battle Pass Boost), an additional BF Pro Radio Station for all vehicles and more. Battlefield Pro will be available for $24.99 MSRP, or your regional equivalent.

How the Battle Pass Works

Unlike a linear “traditional” Battle Pass System, the new Battlefield 6 Battle Pass gives you the choice to tackle four distinct paths of Tiers, following an introductory “Recruit” Path of five Tiers. 

You can choose to complete these four post-Recruit paths in any order. Complete all paths during a Season to unlock two ultimate mastery paths, which have their own Tiers of the most high-end content such as Legendary Weapon Packages. Complete all four post-Recruit paths to gain access to additional Seasonal paths to be released during the season.

Note: completing mastery paths is not required to unlock in-Season paths.

Battle Pass Tiers are unlocked through Battle Pass Points, earned either through Weekly Challenges or through Career XP earned. Every Battle Pass Point grants you one Tier for any path you have unlocked; it’s your choice, after all. 

In addition to a dedicated in-game tutorial to easily guide you through the system at launch, let’s break down the Season 1 Battle Pass and demonstrate the journey ahead:

Season 1 Battle Pass: Instant Rewards for Premium, Battlefield Pro

Upgrading to the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass unlocks the following items instantly upon purchase, in addition to access to all 100 Tiers of Content:

• NEW PAX ARMATA SUPPORT CLASS SOLDIER - BRODIE, PANOPTICON 8. Part of Season 1’s new Pax Armata faction for clandestine operations, Brodie is a former British medical specialist who separated after eight years of service before taking Pax Armata contracts. Retrained to suit Panopticon 8’s versatile combat needs, he works undercover as a supplier in the medical field, using his shipping and stockpiling resources to prepare his faction’s assault on Fort Lyndon. His default Skin is “Standard Issue.”
• SOLDIER SKIN FOR RECON CLASS (NATO COYOTE SQUAD’S SSG HAWKINSON) - SPEAK NO EVIL. A kit designed for those who let their actions do the talking.
• SOLDIER SKIN FOR SUPPORT CLASS (PAX ARMATA FIRETEAM VEDMAK’S RAMONA STOICA) - BAD MEDICINE. A kit for the mercenary medic on the Pax Armata payroll.
• SOR-300SC CARBINE RIFLE WEAPON PACKAGE - WILD BEAST. A weapon styled for the wolf with no limits and no mercy. Based on one of the new functional weapons in Season 1, this Weapon Package includes attachments that significantly boost its hipfire capabilities, as well as boost its precision and control statistics, at the cost of some mobility and bullet velocity.
• PARACHUTE - TRANSPARENCY. A parachute for nocturnal operations.
• 30 MINUTE CAREER XP BOOST.
• 10% GLOBAL XP BOOST FOR SEASON ONE. Career, Hardware and Battle XP gains are all boosted by 10%, which can stack with available Timed Boosts.
• 64-PLAYER PERSISTENT SERVER HOSTING FOR NON-OWNERS OF BATTLEFIELD 6.

Battlefield Pro

In addition to all Season 1 Premium Battle Pass benefits, including its instant unlock items (except the Global XP Boost), Battlefield Pro owners receive the following:

The BF Pro Challenge Assignment for Season 1 is a five-step sequence to unlock the following items:

• PLAYER CARD ICON - ZEROED IN
• SOR-300C CARBINE RIFLE WEAPON PACKAGE - FINISHING MOVE. A weapon styled for executing countless objectives and still signing up for more. Based on one of the new functional weapons in Season 1, this Weapon Package includes attachments that increase precision, control and weapon reload speed, all with minimal cost to mobility.
• SOLDIER SKIN FOR RECON CLASS (PAX ARMATA KAHINA UNITÉ’S IDRIS OMRAN) - HAVOC. A kit designed for the professional operator who maximizes lethality in recon engagements.

Season 1 Battle Pass - The Recruit Path, Your First Steps Into the Battle Pass

Whether you upgrade to the Premium Battle Pass, via BFC Coins or through BF Pro, or stick to the free version, your first steps into each seasonal Battle Pass are through the Recruit Path. 

These five Tiers are an introduction to the new System. As you play Battlefield, you will make progress towards earning rewards like:

• TIER 2 (PREMIUM REWARD): LL10 LMG WEAPON PACKAGE - CANIS LUPUS. A weapon styled for the bloodthirsty wolf. Includes attachments that greatly increases control, boosts mobility, reduces aim down sight time and an enhanced 3.0x magnification scope (compared to the Factory version), at the minimal cost of some precision.
• TIER 3 (FREE REWARD): 100 BATTLEFIELD COINS. The in-game currency used to purchase Premium Battle Passes or Bundles.
• TIER 5 (FREE REWARD): NEW FUNCTIONAL WEAPON - GGH-22 SIDEARM. A renowned semi-auto pistol with a .40 caliber chambering for improved ranged performance.

In addition to these rewards, completing the Recruit Path unlocks all four of the Battle Pass’ branching paths.

Season 1 Battle Pass - Your Choice, Your Rewards

Split into four paths of 22 Tiers, you get to decide what functional and customization content to unlock next, themed around four operation directives:

Rogue Operations

The rules of engagement have changed; when battle lines are redrawn and directives no longer apply, these are some of the tools needed to complete the mission.

• TIER 12 (PREMIUM REWARD): NEW PAX ARMATA ASSAULT CLASS SOLDIER - KO SAITO, PANOPTICON 8. As part of a Japanese land self-defense force, Ko Saito trained with and worked alongside U.S. troops. He deployed for several rescue and raid operations until contracting with Pax Armata. He aided Panopticon 8 to coordinate the surprise attack on Fort Lyndon with other undercover Pax members.
• TIER 23 (FREE REWARD): NEW FUNCTIONAL WEAPON - SOR-300C CARBINE RIFLE. This modular rifle in subcompact .300 BLK configuration favors close range engagements.
• TIER 24 (PREMIUM REWARD): SOLDIER SKIN FOR RECON CLASS (PAX ARMATA ESPADA’S BEATRIZ REYES) - FOREST SENTRY. A kit for those who kill from the trailline.

Deniable Operations

Darkness. Concealment, Secrets. “It never happened”. Equip the gear you need to enter covertly and get out clean; your reward goes beyond the history books.

• Tier 12 (Premium Reward): New Pax Armata Recon Class Soldier - Rachel Mackenzie, Panopticon 8. For ten years, Rachel MacKenzie served as an Officer of the Australia SAS, engaging in counter-terrorist missions. After a failed mission, she voluntarily left service and was contacted by Pax Armata. Her main purpose in the Fort Lyndon operation was to assist in weapons transportation.
• Tier 23 (Free Reward): (Free Reward): SV-98 Sniper Rifle Weapon Package - Long Memory. A weapon styled for serving revenge cold under someone else’s flag. Includes attachments that add a range finder for better weapon zeroing (shooting targets at distances longer than 100 meters) and increase scope magnification to 8.0x.
• Tier 24 (Premium Reward): Soldier Skin for Support Class (Pax Armata Coyote Squad CPL Kimura) - Counter Accusation. A kit for those who fight off the record.

Soldiers of Fortune

Get in. Fill your pockets. Get out. Soldiers of fortune are in it for the loot and nothing more. This is gear for hunters of the high-roller lifestyle, featuring a few items for manifesting good fortune and a brand-new ranged weapon.

• TIER 12 (PREMIUM REWARD): SLEDGEHAMMER SKIN - MIRROR BREAKER. A hammer for those who aren’t afraid of a little broken glass.
• TIER 23 (FREE REWARD): NEW FUNCTIONAL WEAPON - MINI SCOUT SNIPER RIFLE. This lightweight scout rifle offsets reduced damage by allowing rapid follow-up shots without having to break focus.
• TIER 24 (PREMIUM REWARD): SOLDIER SKIN FOR ENGINEER CLASS (PAX ARMATA COYOTE SQUAD PFC MURDOCK) - HEALTH IS WEALTH. A kit for those who know survival requires a bit of good fortune.

Pacific Ghosts

The frontlines are now on the pacific coast; let the haze and marine layer act as your shroud for advancing beyond enemy lines, with all gear inspired by the Southland.

• TIER 12 (PREMIUM REWARD): NEW PAX ARMATA ENGINEER CLASS SOLDIER - NELIS HOLM, PANOPTICON 8. Well-versed in unconventional warfare, Holm supported several peacekeeping missions before contracting with Pax Armata. Following a successful infiltration to acquire classified NATO technology, Holm went under the guise of a private investor for military tech companies to set up the operation at Fort Lyndon.
• TIER 16 (PREMIUM REWARD): SG 553R CARBINE RIFLE WEAPON PACKAGE - BRIAR SHOT. A weapon styled for urban brush and territory. Included attachments that significantly enhance mobility, due to a smaller magazine and other accessories, as well improve precision, control and aim down sight (ADS) time.
• TIER 24 (FREE REWARD): SOLDIER SKIN FOR ASSAULT CLASS (NATO UNITED ALBION’S PTE EVANS-GREENE) - DIVIDED PATTERNS. A kit handed out for special operations in California.

Season 1 Battle Pass - The Ultimate Prestige of Completion

Conquered the four main paths - Rogue Operations, Deniable Operations, Soldiers of Fortune and Pacific Ghosts - and ready to enter the elite ranks of seasonal glory? Enter the Ultimate and Prestige Paths:

Ultimate

Unlocked after completing all previous paths, the Ultimate Path has seven Tiers of Free and Premium content unlocks including:

• TIER 2 (PREMIUM REWARD): MINI SCOUT SNIPER RIFLE WEAPON PACKAGE - GOLDEN VALOR. Well-versed in unconventional warfare, Holm supported several peacekeeping missions before contracting with Pax Armata. • TIER 2 (FREE REWARD):  ASCENDENT WEAPON STICKER.
• TIER 6 (FREE REWARD): USG-90 WEAPON PACKAGE - ECTOPLASM. A weapon styled for those who excel in the darkness and light up the night. Includes attachments that increase precision and control, as well as grant a slightly magnified sight picture at 1.75x
• TIER 10 (PREMIUM REWARD): 200 BATTLEFIELD COINS.

Season 1 Battle Pass - Coming Soon: California Resistance and Ice Lock Paths

After completing all Season 1 Battle Pass paths - excluding the Mastery Paths - you will gain access to two seasonal paths to be released later in Season 1.

The first, California Resistance, will be available starting on November 18 and include the DB 12 Shotgun as a free functional reward. Progress can be made on this path for a limited time until December 9.

The other, Ice Lock, will launch on December 9 and include the Ice Climbing Axe as a free functional reward. This path will be available to complete until the end of Season 1.
