Goooood morning Night City!
The Outlands have been hacked and the Legends are getting chromed up.
Hit the streets of Night City E-District in Wildcard, hunt down your new best friend, the Mythic Skippy Alternator, and score preem new cosmetics.
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event runs from July 14 to August 4. You ready, chooms?
WILDCARD: NIGHT CITY LEGENDS

Cyberware’s flooding the streets of E-District, bringing faster, riskier firefights and more dynamic positioning. Push your Cyberware to its limits and risk it all, but lean too hard on your chrome and there may be… consequences.

Chrome up with 2 new Cyberware mods: choose between lightning-fast dashes with Sandevistan or strike from the shadows with Blackwall Breach:
- Sandevistan: Quick dashes in any direction that recharge your shields. Chain two dashes before touching ground to close gaps or ghost out of danger.
- Blackwall Breach: Phase into the Net to reposition, then unleash a disruptive EMP that cracks enemy shields and tracks their location.

Push your chrome too far and it’ll push back. Every Cyberware use increases your Cyberware Capacity. Hit your limit and you’ll go full Cyberpsycho and become a high-speed melee monster:
- High movement speed
- Devastating melee damage
- No weapons
- No abilities
- No shields
- No ordnance
Keep your chrome in check or reverse Cyberpsychosis with Immunoblocker Syringes scattered across the map or Immunoblocker Caches that wipe your meter clean.
WILDCARD E-DISTRICT TAKEOVER
Night City has rolled in and made itself at home in E-District. Towering neon skyboxes, holographic koi drifting through the sky, and glitched-out signage across the map for the duration in Wildcard of the event.

PATCH NOTES: RECENT UPDATES & FIXES
Here are some updates and fixes from our most recent patches:
- Changed Wildcard map rotations to 90 minutes, in response to community feedback
Dev note: We are making this change to align with community desires and may test variations in rotation timing in future, all in pursuit of finding what players enjoy most.
- We have reduced Bot Royale Evolved lobbies to contain only one player squad with broad teammate matchmaking bands
Dev note: Since Bot Royale evolved we've seen frustration around two prominent pain points: long queue times, and wide skill disparity between squads - both stemming from the 1-5 team lobby parameter. This change should allow players to get into matches much quicker and with less frustration towards your opponents. As such, Bot Royale Evolved should better align with its design intention of being a mode for learning, warmup, practice, and casual play.
- Resolved the issue causing stuttering when wiping a squad for players playing on the EA App. (The fix requires the latest version of the EA App)
- Unprompted Mirage voicelines have been stopped.
- Resolved an issue where some players lost control of the Legend upon landing from a dropship.
- Resolved issues resulting in FPS drops on specific CPUs, continuing to monitor and improve performance.
- Fixes for various crashes, improving overall stability.
ON OUR RADAR
Here’s a couple of the open issues that we’ve seen some community chatter around that are currently being worked on. Stay up to date with our progress on these issues and more on our public Trello board.
- After recent mitigations to FPS drops, we are continuing to monitor performance as we work toward a permanent fix in an upcoming patch.
